Llandells is the district that, due to its location with respect to the old part of the city - it extends from north to south, bordering directly with it - and due to its ordered urban grid, could be considered the extension of Peñíscola. And it is precisely its location and urban structure that have favored a generalized renovation of spaces and the progressive construction of new housing blocks aimed at both the tourist sector and the permanent population of Peñíscola -which seeks more modern environments to settle. It also stands out for housing the Ullal de l'Estany, the urban lagoon that is located in one of the parks of the town and belongs to the environment of the marsh of Peñíscola.
